Wattana Girls’ Chorus Won Gold Award at The First Hong Kong International Choral Festival 2024.

Congratulations to the Wattana Girls’ Chorus on receiving awards at The First Hong Kong International Choral Festival 2024, held from September 30 to October 5, 2024, in Shenzhen and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. The choir was led by Mr. Sathit Sukchongchaipruk, Conductor, Mr. Siri Chang, Pianist and Assistant Conductor.

This year, the Wattana Girls’ Chorus achieved the prestigious awards as follows:

1. Gold Award in the Teen’s Choir in two categories (aged 10-17 equal voices) for their performances of the songs “Ave Maria” and “Kishu no to Osan.”

2. Gold Award and Champion of Category in the Chamber Choir 1 – Equal Voices category for their performances of the songs “Thai Phama Khuae” and “Ramwong Medley.”
