Wattana Girls’ Chorus Wins Two Silver Medals at the World Choir Games 2026 in Sweden

Wattana Wittaya Academy proudly congratulates the Wattana Girls’ Chorus on bringing honour and pride to Thailand by winning two Silver Medals at the World Choir Games 2026, held in Helsingborg, Sweden, from 4–12 August 2026.

Competing in The Champions Competition, the Wattana Girls’ Chorus was awarded Silver Medals in two categories:

🥈 C2: Children’s Choir
The choir performed four pieces:

• Kyrie
• This Little Light of Mine
• Suriram – Hela Rotan
• Bua Khao (บัวขาว)

🥈 C19: Folklore and Indigenous Music with Accompaniment
The choir showcased the distinctive beauty and cultural richness of Thai traditional music through three pieces:

• Lao Duang Duean (ลาวดวงเดือน)
• Thai Phama Khwe (ท้ายพม่าเขว)
• Ramwong Medley (รำวงเมดเล่ย์)

Conductors: Mr. Sathit Sukchongchaipruk and Ms. Natthita Wongprom
Pianists: Mr. Siri Saechang and Ms. Pornvarin Kansirisin
