The Wattana Children’s Chorus of Wattana Wittaya Academy was honored by the Office of the Prime Minister with an invitation to perform at the opening ceremony of the National Children’s Day Celebration 2026, held at the Santimaitree Building, Government House. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand, who graciously attended the performance and took commemorative photographs with the choir.
On this auspicious occasion, the Wattana Children’s Chorus presented two meaningful and patriotic songs: the Thai National Anthem and “Ban Kerd Muang Non” (Our Homeland). The performance was conducted by Mr. Sathit Sukchongchaipruk and accompanied on the piano by Mr. Siri Chang, powerfully conveying the pride, unity, and spirit of Thai identity through music.
This distinguished performance aimed to inspire patriotism, unity, and a strong sense of good citizenship among children and youth, in alignment with the National Children’s Day 2026 slogan announced by the Prime Minister: “Love Thailand, Care for the World.” 🇹🇭🌏
