Mini EP Program

The curriculum of the Mini English Program (MINI EP) is mapped to provide supreme learning experience for children age 3-6 years old. The learning would be done through meaningful plays, hands-on practices, direct experiences in variety in order for the students to gain knowledge, skill, moral and Wattana Characters, as well as physically, emotionally, psychological, socially and intellectually development, and not framed by any specific subject. The program is conducted by foreign teachers who have years of experiences in Kindergarten students. This program focuses on children having age-appropriate development, gaining first-hand experience to develop the muscles, as well as moral knowledge, expression encouragement, discipline, responsibility, honesty, economic, kindness, sharing, manners and be able to practice according to Thai culture and respected religious. The curriculum also provides optional learning to suite individual practically in order to enhance creativity. The experience-enhancing activities are done via outdoor activities, movement and rhythm activities, creative activities, free play activities, and educational games, as well as Chinese language learning and Computational Thinking skill of the ORIGO Education which is curated by Mathematic specialized Australian guru in kindergarten. In addition, the project approach, brain-based learning (BBL), and Discovery Learning Process, as well as High Scope activities and Project Approach are also used in teaching and learning.

Regular English Course (REC)

The Regular English Course (REC) is conducted under the education curriculum of the Ministry of Education and is focused on preparing the learning experience for children age 3-6 years through meaningful plays, practical hands-on activities in order to stimulate the five senses via exploration, movement, experiment, observation, and problem-solving with the purpose of gaining knowledge and moral, as well as Wattana Characters. At the same time, the curriculum is mapped to enhance the child’s development physically, emotionally, psychologically, socially, and intellectually by integrating through activities such as experience-enhancing activities, outdoor activities, movement and rhythm activities, creative activities, free play activities, and educational games. The course is conducted by Thai teachers who are specialized in children in kindergarten level. Christian Ethics Course

Kindergarten Level ( Kindergarten 1 – Kindergarten 3 )

Aim for learners to learn about the birth of Jesus Christ. As well as important dates, important symbols and the meaning of Christmas. Choosing colleagues of Jesus Christ. The missions of his love among disciples and people, the basic ethics of living together in family, society, and community.

Premium English Course (PEC)

The Premium English Course (PEC) is a program of teaching and learning English that focuses on communication skills, and the development of language skills of learners such as speaking, listening, reading and writing skills by integrating English grammar with activities in teaching and learning. The program is taught by foreign teachers with knowledge and ability in teaching and learning. The program operates the teaching and learning at the primary level 1 – 6 (P.1-6).

English Program (EP)

The English Program (EP) is a program of teaching and learning in accordance with both the Ministry of Education curriculum and the Wattana Wittaya Academy curriculum. EP program conducts teaching according to the basic education core curriculum, which uses English as a medium i.e. Inquiry-based Learning and Action Learning. English is used as a medium for teaching in the main courses, namely mathematics, science, health education and physical education, and other extra curriculum activities of Wattana Wittaya Academy to develop the academic competence and language skills of learners. The program is taught by foreign teachers and Thai teachers with experience and knowledge. The English Program (EP) operates the teaching and learning at the primary level 1-5 (P.1-5), two classrooms per level and not more than 30 students in a classroom.

Science Technology and Mathematics Program (STAMP) P.4 – P.6

Wattana Wittaya Academy mapped the special curriculum for Science Technology and Mathematics Program (STAMP) in primary level which was chosen to be qualified as SMT school in science, mathematics, and technology by Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST). The curriculum is mapped for variety of hands-on learning, assisted by specialized teachers and speakers from outside organizations. All activities shaped students according to individual proficiency with the emphasize on science, technology and mathematic skills. The course is also emphasizing advanced thinking skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity until the learners are able to create innovations in accordance with the educational management framework of the 21st century. The school has also integrated additional morality and ethics which consistent with the school philosophy that aims to train learners to have the Wattana Characters.

Christian Ethics Course

Learning Subject, Christian Ethics Course, Elementary Level

Primary Elementary Level ( Grade 1 – Grade 3 )

Learn about the love and mercy of Jesus Christ in our life. Relationship between friends, God’s presence in various situations, history of Christianity, important doctrines, prayers, Christian rites, important days of Christianity, and biographies in the Bible.

Upper Elementary Level ( Grade 4 – Grade 6 )

The origin and importance of the Bible. The way of the life in Jesus Christ, Christian creeds, skill development, and guidelines for making a decision according to the age of learners.

Enrichment English Program (EEP)

The Enrichment English Program (EEP) conducts a curriculum for secondary level that emphasizes on using English as a medium of learning. It is tailormade for M1-3 and in accordance with the Ministry of Education curriculum. The learning would be done using technology in variety of subjects in order to enhance the students to practically use it in the future. The Enrichment English Program is done in English by foreign teachers for mathematic, science and health study. In addition, the program is also mapped and standardized in accordance with the Pearson Edexcel International Lower Secondary curriculum. The program operates the teaching and learning for one classroom per level only and not more than 35 students per classroom.

Science Technology and Mathematics Program (STAMP)

Wattana Wittaya Academy was selected to participate in a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC) and the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST) to coordinate in both curriculum development, promoting learner’s potential, learning management techniques of teachers that promote thinking skills and problem solving, and implementation of learning management that develops learners to the highest potential according to learner’s aptitude by emphasizing advanced thinking skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity until the learners are able to create innovations in accordance with the educational management framework of the 21st century. The school has also integrated additional morality and ethics which consistent with the school philosophy that aims to train learners to have the Wattana Characters. The program operates the teaching and learning at the secondary level 1 – 3 (M.1-3).

Learning Blocks Program in Upper Secondary Level.

The Learning Blocks program at Wattana Wittaya Academy aims to allow students to develop their full potential of their special abilities in mathematics and science. The curriculum is mapped for the students to have solid foundation in mathematics, science, technology, social study, religion, language, art, music and physical education. The students would be able to analyze and adapt the skill in order to be a complete person with intelligence, healthy body, psychological health, social, loving and giving, caring, bonding, proud to be Thai with gratitude to the country while being international intellects.

Christian Ethics Course

Lower Secondary Level ( Grade 7 – Grade 9 )

History and works of Jesus Christ. Sermon on the mountain. History and works of the early missionaries. The important mission of the Church of Christ. Ethics according to the age of the learners about love, power, and inspiration, friendship, ability, education, Christian doctrines for nation and country, etc.

Upper Secondary Level ( Grade 10 – Grade 12 )

Study the origin of the Bible. The parable of Jesus Christ. History and mission that the missionaries have initiated. Christian disciplines and freedom of leadership. Respect for rights and duties. Knowing the choices of consumption. Sufficient living, discovering their potential. Realization of the reason and consciousness among friends, etc.

How to Overcome the Problems ( Grade 12 )

Tips for overcoming emotional problems, social problems, hopeless and loss. Suitable behavior for opposite-sex companions. Eliminating the negative thoughts and habits with reason and judgment. Use Jesus’s teaching to guide life. According to the appreciation of God’s grace for gifts.
