School Curriculum

Regular English Course (REC)

The Regular English Course (REC) is conducted by Thai teachers who are the expert in kindergarten teaching with the early childhood education curriculum of the Ministry of Education. This program focuses on children having age-appropriate development through hands-on activities in order to stimulate the five senses via exploration, movement, experiment, observation, and problem-solving with the purpose of gaining knowledge and moral. At the same time, the curriculum is mapped to enhance the child’s development physically, emotionally, psychologically, socially, and intellectually by integrating through activities such as experience-enhancing activities, outdoor activities, movement and rhythm activities, creative activities, free play activities, and educational games. In addition, the project approach, brain-based learning (BBL), and Discovery Learning Process, as well as High Scope activities and Project Approach are also used in teaching and learning.

Mini EP Program

The Mini EP Program is a program conducted by foreign teachers together with Thai teachers who are the expert in kindergarten teaching, using English as a medium for teaching and learning in accordance with the early childhood education curriculum of the Ministry of Education. This program focuses on children having age-appropriate development physically, emotionally, psychologically, socially, and intellectually by integrating through activities such as experience-enhancing activities, outdoor activities, movement and rhythm activities, creative activities, free play activities, and educational games. In addition, the project approach, brain-based learning (BBL), and Discovery Learning Process, as well as High Scope activities and Project Approach are also used in teaching and learning.

Christian Ethics Course

Learning Subject, Christian Ethics Course, Kindergarten Level

Kindergarten Level ( Kindergarten 1 – Kindergarten 3 )

Aim for learners to learn about the birth of Jesus Christ. As well as important dates, important symbols and the meaning of Christmas. Choosing colleagues of Jesus Christ. The missions of his love among disciples and people, the basic ethics of living together in family, society, and community.

Premium English Course (PEC)

The Premium English Course (PEC) is a program of teaching and learning English that focuses on communication skills, and the development of language skills of learners such as speaking, listening, reading and writing skills by integrating English grammar with activities in teaching and learning. The program is taught by foreign teachers with knowledge and ability in teaching and learning. The program operates the teaching and learning at the primary level 1 – 3 (P.1-3).

English Program (EP)

The English Program (EP) is a program of teaching and learning in accordance with both the Ministry of Education curriculum and the Wattana Wittaya Academy curriculum. EP program conducts teaching according to the basic education core curriculum, which uses English as a medium. English is used as a medium for teaching in the main courses, namely mathematics, science, health education and physical education, and other extra curriculum activities of Wattana Wittaya Academy to develop the academic competence and language skills of learners. The program is taught by foreign teachers and Thai teachers with experience and knowledge. The English Program (EP) program operates the teaching and learning at the primary level 1-5 (P.1-5).

Christian Ethics Course

Learning Subject, Christian Ethics Course, Elementary Level

Primary Elementary Level ( Grade 1 – Grade 3 )

Learn about the love and mercy of Jesus Christ in our life. Relationship between friends, God’s presence in various situations, history of Christianity, important doctrines, prayers, Christian rites, important days of Christianity, and biographies in the Bible.

Upper Elementary Level ( Grade 4 – Grade 6 )

The origin and importance of the Bible. The way of the life in Jesus Christ, Christian creeds, skill development, and guidelines for making a decision according to the age of learners.

Premium English Course (PEC)

Science Technology and Mathematics Program (STAMP)

Wattana Wittaya Academy was selected to participate in a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC) and the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST) to coordinate in both curriculum development, promoting learner’s potential, learning management techniques of teachers that promote thinking skills and problem solving, and implementation of learning management that develops learners to the highest potential according to learner’s aptitude by emphasizing advanced thinking skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity until the learners are able to create innovations in accordance with the educational management framework of the 21st century. The school has also integrated additional morality and ethics which consistent with the school philosophy that aims to train learners to have the Wattana Characters. The program operates the teaching and learning at the secondary level 1 – 3 (M.1-3)

Christian Ethics Course

Lower Secondary Level ( Grade 7 – Grade 9 )

History and works of Jesus Christ. Sermon on the mountain. History and works of the early missionaries. The important mission of the Church of Christ. Ethics according to the age of the learners about love, power, and inspiration, friendship, ability, education, Christian doctrines for nation and country, etc.

Upper Secondary Level ( Grade 10 – Grade 12 )

Study the origin of the Bible. The parable of Jesus Christ. History and mission that the missionaries have initiated. Christian disciplines and freedom of leadership. Respect for rights and duties. Knowing the choices of consumption. Sufficient living, discovering their potential. Realization of the reason and consciousness among friends, etc.

How to Overcome the Problems ( Grade 12 )

Tips for overcoming emotional problems, social problems, hopeless and loss. Suitable behavior for opposite-sex companions. Eliminating the negative thoughts and habits with reason and judgment. Use Jesus’s teaching to guide life. According to the appreciation of God’s grace for gifts.
