Wattana Wittaya Academy Held Preparatory Meeting for Participation in the 50th National High School Cultural Festival of Japan (Akita Soubun 2026)

Wattana Wittaya Academy recently held a preparatory meeting in anticipation of its participation in the 50th National High School Cultural Festival of Japan (Akita Soubun 2026), scheduled to take place from 26 July to 1 August 2026 in Akita Prefecture, Japan.

On this occasion, the Academy’s teachers and students are deeply honored to have been selected to present traditional Thai dance performances at the festival’s opening ceremony and parade on 26 July 2026. This prestigious opportunity reflects the Academy’s commitment to promoting Thailand’s rich cultural heritage and fostering cultural exchange on the international stage.

Furthermore, on 13 January 2026, a delegation from Akita Prefecture, Japan, paid a visit to Wattana Wittaya Academy and attended a Thai classical dance performance as part of the preparatory activities. The visit also played a significant role in strengthening bilateral cooperation and nurturing positive relations between Thailand and Japan, while promoting sustainable cultural exchange and mutual understanding among young people at the international level.
