“Wattana 150th Anniversary: A Fun and Engaging Reading Camp”

On August 30-31, 2024, Mrs. Supaluk Chaisathan, the School Director, library staff, and the event organizing team, successfully organized a reading camp titled “Wattana 150th Anniversary: A Fun and Engaging Reading Camp.” This camp was designed for students from P.4 to M.3 who love reading and took place at Cholapruek Resort, Ban Na, Nakhon Nayok.

The camp was honored by the presence of Mr. Ruangsak Pinprateep, also known as “Toob Pong,” the Managing Director of the Children’s Book Foundation, as a special guest speaker. Mr. Ruangsak delivered an inspiring talk entitled “Reading Books…Reading Life: Thinking and Reading for Fun,” motivating students to develop a love for reading and understand the significance in acquiring knowledge in order to enhance their lives.

This reading camp provided students with a memorable experience through various engaging activities designed to stimulate creativity and critical thinking. The ultimate goal was to develop students’ reading skills, deep thinking abilities, and a love for learning.
