Project Approach – Early Childhood Education, Academic Year 2026

The Early Childhood Department at Wattana Wittaya Academy implemented its Project Approach for the 2026 academic year to encourage learning based on the interests of children in each classroom.

Children were given opportunities to choose topics that interested them and explore those topics through activities designed to develop skills and scientific thinking processes. The learning process incorporated the “7 ส.” Discovery Learning Process: Questioning, Observing, Experiencing, Exploring, Investigating, Building Knowledge, and Drawing Conclusions.

Project-based learning provided children with direct, hands-on experiences, allowing them to explore and investigate topics of personal interest while incorporating artistic creativity into their learning. Parents and guardians were also invited to observe the learning process and support the children as they presented what they had discovered through their classroom projects.

The project topics for the 2026 academic year were:

K.1

  • K.1/1: “ANT”
  • K.1/2: “SHEEP”
  • K.1/3: “MOSQUITO”

K.2

  • K.2/1: “RAMBUTAN”
  • K.2/2: “LEMON”
  • K.2/3: “GUPPY”

K.3

  • K.3/1: “OWL”
  • K.3/2: “HAMSTER”
  • K.3/3: “AIRPLANE”

The Project Approach provides children with meaningful opportunities to learn through their own interests, hands-on exploration, research, and shared learning with their classmates in an engaging and age-appropriate way.
