M.2/3 students in PEC curriculum performed in English musical ‘Forget Me Not.’

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, M.2/3 students of the Premium English Course (PEC) held an English musical – Forget Me Not, in the 2024 academic year at the Neilson Hays Memorial Hall, as part of the Drama Club and an activity to promote English language and performing arts skills for students studying the PEC course.

The Forget Me Not play gave students the opportunity to practice their English language skills in real-life situations through writing, performing on stage, and communicating in front of an audience. In addition to developing language skills, students also learned teamwork, courage to express themselves, responsibility, and respect for themselves and others, all of which are important characteristics of Wattana Characters.

Throughout the rehearsal and preparation period, the students developed skills in all areas, including problem-solving, building confidence in expressing themselves, and working behind the scenes, such as directing, designing sets and props, and controlling lighting and sound, which helped promote artistic and technological skills at the same time.

This performance was held under the supervision of Miss Vasutthida Punwattana, serves as the teacher and directs the Drama practice for the students, Miss Sirikunya Thani, Head of Foreign Language Department, Mr. Dalemark Castro, and Mr. Eric Flatness, teachers of the PEC course, including homeroom teacher who provided guidance and support for students to show their full potential.
