Library Week Activity: “Building Good Character Through Stories”

Wattana Wittaya Academy organized the Library Week activity “Building Good Character Through Stories” on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the 130th Anniversary Meeting Room.

The activity aimed to encourage reading and learning through entertaining stories with meaningful lessons, helping students develop positive values, ethics, creativity, and a love of reading.

The school was honored to welcome the following guest speakers:

• Khun Vorapot Korcharoenwat (P’Donut), Director of the “Building Good Character Through Stories” project, writer, illustrator, and adjunct lecturer in Children’s Picture Book Design at the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University
• Khun Benjatasap Lekwat (P’Ben), freelance writer and editor, Wattana alumna, Class 127, and graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, Thammasat University
• Khun Pitchaya Sitthichankuna (P’Phet), counselor and guidance advisor, currently pursuing a master’s degree in Human Development at Mahidol University
• Khun Thidarat Jaksurak (P’Minna), counselor and guidance advisor, graduate of the Faculty of Education, Srinakharinwirot University

Through stories and storytelling, students strengthened their reading skills and creativity while learning important values. The activity also provided meaningful experiences that connected reading with personal growth and development.
