FAA Students Explore Traditional Thai Art through a Lai Rod Nam Workshop

On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, students from M.4/3, M.5/3, and M.6/5 in the Learning Blocks: Fine and Applied Arts (FAA) program participated in a hands-on “Lai Rod Nam” traditional Thai decorative art workshop from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the second-floor meeting room of the Centennial Memorial Building, Wattana Wittaya Academy.

The workshop was honored to welcome Assistant Professor Supachai Sermsukcharoenchai, a lecturer in the Department of Handicrafts at Poh-Chang Academy of Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, as the guest instructor.

During the workshop, students gained valuable knowledge and insights into the traditional art of Lai Rod Nam while learning directly through hands-on practice. The experience helped students develop their artistic skills while deepening their understanding and appreciation of traditional Thai art.
